As I expected. I ordered a medium nib but received a fine nib.

I've recently gotten interested in fountain pens, so when an ad for Ellington Pens appeared in my FB feed I was quite pleased...so pleased, in fact, that I ended up buying three pens (two for myself and one for a fellow pen-enthusiast friend). First, there is no denying that the pens are gorgeous. Second, the writing experience itself is smooth and effortless. Third, my concern about the drippy ink I've experienced with other fountain pens was never realized.

Now comes the hard part: improving my handwriting. I am hopeful that having a beautiful, perfectly weighted, smooth writing implement will help me to slow down and achieve an improvement in my cursive penmanship. I anticipate that practice sessions will be a sort of meditation for me, and I'm already looking forward to them.

I suspect that my first purchase of Ellington pens will not be my last, and I wish happy writing to all!

I'm relatively new to the wonderful world of fountain pens, and I'll be honest, I never thought I'd find an affordable pen to replace my previous favorite. Yet here we are! From the moment I opened the box, I knew I had something different. The smoothness of the medium nib as it glides across the page, and the heft/weight of it is absolutely beautiful. You really know you're holding something special. I use my Stealth for journaling, and writing snail mail. Even friends, and family have remarked on the quality of my letters improving since I started using it. Thank you, Ellington, for such an amazing product! You can bet that you have a life long customer in me.

I like it! It got extra fine and it writes extra fine! That is usually my biggest disappointment! I’m not an expert but it’s not too heavy, while not too light, and the ivory bit has a gentle shine/sparkle to it. It feels more expensive than my other pens, I am enjoying it. I might give another pen a go and maybe even try FINE nib ;)

This is a fine point pen. Everyone that I have had, up to this fine point, took a while for the ink to start flowing. I literally put the ink cartridge in, turned it up to write, and it wrote flawlessly. No skip or nothing, just a great writing experience. Finish and appearance are good. If I had to say anything negative, it would be the cap. It works well, but a little play from side to side, if you hold the pen and cap and wiggle it side to side. Weight is a little heavier than I used to, but I’m use to it now and love it.

I love all Ellington pens. This one is especially terrific. The "keyboard " design is wonderful for me, a piano player

I love my new pen. This is my first fountain pen. I do think that I received the incorrect nib, I ordered a medium but I think I received a thin. I received excellent service when I needed assistance loading the cartridge.

A beautiful pen. I’m eager to use it. It’s been a long time since I’ve used an ink pen.

I love my new Ellington Fountain Pen! As a child in Catholic school on the 1950s, we were required to use only fountain pens. If anyone came to school with a ballpoint pen it was confiscated by the nun. This pen brings back memories, but is a much more elegant instrument than the fountain pens we used back then. It writes so smoothly, I find myself looking for reasons to use it.

I had a chance to need to use Ellington pens customer service. They are very courteous and friendly and responded very quickly. First of all, they help me too figure out what was wrong and then they offered a replacement pan just to make sure I was completely satisfied and everything was all right.
