Bold and brilliant
I recently received an order, Order #117108. It was for ink supplies and a new extra fine Nib. The order is for a Gold Nib for the Gold Pocket Pen. I received a Silver Nib, I have already contacted Ellington once to see if they can help me exchange it for the Gold Nib and have not received a reply.
When I ordered the pen a few weeks ago the package arrived in damaged condition, the shipping package was literally run over by tow motor (tire treads) and had been sent with the correct address label but a new label and different address in New Jersey were placed over the top of my correct address in Indiana. Of course, that added additional time to the delivery.
I really like the pen and even though the box inside the package was mashed, it still writes very well. I have been considering purchasing a different pen but I must admit that your shipping department leaves a lot to be desired.

Over the years, there have been many pens in my hand. The one that I prized the first and most was a Parker fountain pen. However, over time, it got lost in moves. I reverted to disposable fountain pens, which were good, but, not nearly as good as this Ellington pen. I selected an orange-and-black model for several reasons:They were my old high school colors; they are the colors of the Philadelphia Flyers hockey team, and they remind me of one of my early cars, a Gremlin. I have not yet used the pen with the fill-up ink cartridge, as I ordered 24 cartridges in black. I like the weight of the pen as well as its ease of writing. With it I have been inspired to write in a journal of my life and times in my hometown. It makes writing a true joy. A computer keyboard may be faster and have spell-check, but there is nothing like that Ellington fountain pen for a feeling of accomplished writing.

Great quality at a reasonable price.
Ink truly does make a difference. I picked up fountain pen ink at a craft store and it just didn't work well. I blamed the pen. I bought the Ellington ink, cleaned my pen well and filled it. Writes like new. Don't be fooled with other brands.

I received my pens today and I love them. I have four of them!
Absolutely love it! I got a cheaper bottle of "watermens" from france and yuck. This generous bottle of ink will last you a while. I wrote over 150 page book and im still on the first bottle. It dries quick, water resistant (one of best so far), and creates a nice dark rich black with a little gloss to it. It is light enough to work on lighter GSM papers too!
I have not used this ink yet. I am using the cartridges for all my fountain pens. However, I am going to switch to the bottled ink in all my fouontain pens as soon as the current ink cartridge is empty. I am looking forward to trying both the black ink and the Skyline Script Blue ink very soon.
I recently purchased this bottle of ink. When it came in the mail it unfortunately had leaked out and made an awful mess. I contacted them and they were so quick to send me a new bottle. Their customer service team is AMAZING! They made sure to make it right, even sending me cartridges instead. They truly go all out for their customers. As for the ink, this black is perfect! On cheap paper it does bread through and feather a bit, but on better paper it’s beautiful. So happy with my purchase. Thank you Ellington for everything!
