I have been purchasing Ellington Fountain Pens for the past several years. I have six in my collection. I am not a collector of pens, but I have been so impressed with the way they write, I am hooked. My latest vice is the ‘wood’ pens and now have both the Rosewood and Maplewood Harmony fountain pens. I just purchased several more as gifts. These pens just feel perfect in my hand. The balance is wonderful and the weight at 1.2oz does not tire the hand after pages of writing. The presentation in the matching wooden case makes this a fantastic gift. If you write for a living, or just like to have a good writing tool for those occasional letters & cards, try any of the Ellington pens, but there is nothing like the feel of a wood barrel. Like me, you’ll love the experience.

I recently received my Ellington fountain pen and wanted to share some quick feedback. The pen writes smoothly and feels well-crafted in the hand. While I wouldn’t place it in the elite tier of fountain pens, it performs much better than I expected at this price point. The balance between design, build quality, and writing performance makes it an excellent value, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable it is to use.

I also want to highlight the excellent customer service I experienced. When my first pen arrived with a small defect, the issue was corrected within a day after only two emails. That kind of prompt and straightforward support makes a big difference and left me very confident in your brand.

It has a nice feel in my hand and my pocket. It's quite heavy for a pen, which I like. Unfortunately when the cap is turned around and stuck to the bottom of the pen it is too heavy to comfortably write so I leave it off. It writes very smoothly and with little pressure. The cap has a feel and sound of quality as it snugly snaps shut. It's a beautiful pen. I can only complain about 1 thing, I really wish it came with a choice of tips as I wanted an extra fine.

I had ceased handwriting for years. Then I got inspired by receiving a beautiful hand written letter to take up a pen and practice handwriting again after long neglect. I tried various pens and bought this one . I was very pleased that it writes beautifully and is a gorgeous pen too! It’s become my favorite pen! It gives me confidence I can achieve my goal of beautiful handwriting.
