Purple Haze Mechanical Pencil

If you work in Accounting as I do... word of caution this pencil is .7 lead. A bit like a sharp crayon. Beautiful pencil, have used it for bold statements. Only other thing, we who use the smaller lead are also accustomed to a lighter weight tool. Beautiful as it is... I will keep this gem

No eraser otherwise good

I probably would not have purchased if wasn't for the color. I mean, seriously one can buy cheap versions to toss. However, a beautiful pencil I can refill also plays to my environmental conscious. It's beautiful and matches my purple haze pen.

Really nice pen. It's just a shame it's silver and purple, not gold and purple.

Bought both the Purple Haze pencil and pen. They might almost be too thick, but my wife has petite hands and still likes both. The artist's leads are beautifully suited to shading and shaping letters. Not likely to buy another set because these two fit the need beautifully. The only drawback was having to pay the import duty.

As a physics professor I do a lot of writing. I was looking for a beautiful fountain pen and mechanical pencil set to use in this capacity. The Ellington pens and pencils are beautifully constructed, sturdy, and they have a perfect weight in the hand to make writing effortless. I get a lot of enjoyment writing with my Ellington fountain pen and mechanical pencil. I have a collection of fountain pens and the Ellington pen is the smoothest writing pen that I have now. The mechanisms in the pencil are extremely smooth. Both the pen and pencil are easy to reload as well. Overall Ellington pens and pencils are of the highest quality.

Easy to write with, but it should have easy way of retracting the lead into pencil like maybe able to twist it in. Also an eraser under pencil top or directly on top or including an eraser separately. We do need to erase our mistakes.

Even these mechanical pencils have a beautiful weight to them. They are and feel a lot more substantial than a normal pencil. I love my set of Ellington Pens and Pencils. Thank you Ellington.
