Great pen and very nice journal

Write great!

As with all Ellington Pens, this writes like an absolute dream. Very smooth and a real pleasure to use. However, I regret my colour choice. Given the other pens that Ellington produce, i thought this would have a real quality feel to the body. It does not. It is quite a cheap looking plastic. The colour is substantially lighter than the pictures, which to my eye were a deep metallic colour. In real life it is just matt mid-green plastic. Initially I really liked all the pens in the Eclipse range, but i have been put off by the feel. That is not to say I am unhappy with Ellington pens as a rule as I have several and all the others ooze quality, look and feel amazing. This just does not live up to the quality feel of my others. However, it still writes like an absolute dream.
