Customers praised this cleaner as "the best" for routine maintenance and unclogging stubborn pens. It effectively removes hidden ink after water rinsing, works on clogged nibs, and cleans refillable cartridges. Many noted it "works like a charm" and leaves pens "good as new." One concern: some haven't used it yet to fully evaluate effectiveness.

even after

even after thoroughly rinsing out/through with water and "drying off" with "kitchen" paper towel with NO excess ink showing" after soaking my nib in the 30ml FOUNTAIN PEN CLEANER for 15minutes the nib showed a remarkable cleaner apperance with "hidden" ink being absorbed by the tissue paper :- a good product for cleaning your nib after flushing with water and drying

Hello Stephen,

Best Cleaner Yet

Ellington‘s fountain pen cleaner is by far the best I have used to date. Thankfully I have not needed the cleaner for more than routine maintenance, but it easily did the job and I will buy more when needed.

Beautiful writing instrument

I love fountain pens and have several, including disposable ones. I had a Cross fountain pen purchased several years ago ( and misplaced it). Purchased a Pilot and hated it as it always leaked on my hands. Same for several disposable brands. Did not want to break the bank with my obsession of fountain pens and came across a promotion for Ellington and was able to purchase two pens at a reasonable price. I love these pens! One has a medium nib and the other fine and I find writing with them is extremely comfortable. The pen ink flows smoothly and no more ink ladened fingers. I use them exclusively at work and take many notes while in unending meetings. I am sure I am the envy of many in those meetings as they watch me write with these beautiful pens. Highly recommend!

Hello Lisa,

It means a lot that after trying different brands, you found ours to be smooth, reliable, and comfortable to write with (and no more inky fingers!. Sounds like they’re the perfect companions for those long meetings—and maybe even stealing the spotlight a little!

We truly appreciate your support and recommendation. Happy writing!

Excellent product! Just used it on a clogged pen and worked like a charm!

My favorite fountain pen !

I’ve put off writing my journal for a very long time. Now I’m enjoying the art of writing again, and it writes beautiful !!!!

I love the pen! I like its weight, and I like holding it... even when I'm not writing. I like the way it writes smoothly and cleaning on a variety of papers. And the ink seems to dry quickly, too.
