Ebon Elegance Blackwood is a Hit!

I was waiting for a new model of the Ellington fountain pens, and was pleasantly suprised when I found that there was a new one, this time a wooden one. I have several wooden fountain pens in my collection, so I knew I would be purchasing this pen for my collection. I think of it as my wooden Stealth.

The color is black, as is the metal trim, and it's the only black wooden fountain pen in my collection. And, it is no suprise that it writes as smoothly as my other Ellington fountain pens. I was pleasantly suprised to get six ink cartridges instead of the usual three that have come with my other pens. And, the cartridges are a little longer, so that means more ink.

Thanks, Ellington Pens, for another great pen. And, I have already ordered the Maplewood pen. It's arrived, and I'll break it out as soon as I finish an ink cartridge in my Ebon Elegance Blackwood.

Pen is fine. Was unable to order ink because it’s out of stock. Now to order I will have to pay additional shipping. That’s a bummer!

Unbelievably Terrific Customer Service

Purchased the pen after seeing recent FB ads and videos. A nice pen but a little light and thin for my hand. Inquired about a return and got what I felt was a convoluted procedure and I complained about it in an earlier comment. I would have been left as a terribly dissatisfied customer, but then their support team became involved. They could not have been more caring and helpful and made the end to this story a start of a new relationship with the company. They’ve offered to assist me in selecting a different pen, one that will be better for the hand feel and weight I prefer. They gave me a complete refund a created a new customer. Try them.
