This is by far my most favorite pen. the quality is outstanding and always receives compliments. The quality can be seen right from the opening of the beautiful matching wooden box to the gorgeous carving wooden body of the pen. if you are looking fr that special gift this is mostly definitely it.

I’ve been buying pens at all price points over the last fifty odd years. Some start good, and deteriorate; some need a year or two to bed down into being smooth and reliable. This one seems (so far) to be reliable straight out of the box. And speaking of boxes, the one that comes with the pen is classy, and sturdy. Altogether I am enjoying the pen very much. It is certainly value for money. I look forward to many years of smooth wet ink flowing over my Journals and letters. Just to say, I wish I had specified a slightly wider nib; the fine is really fine, and maybe a little spidery for my handwriting. But that is my fault, and I only mention it to advise those who come after me.

I love fountain pens and have several different brands. However my favorites are my Ellington Pens ( I have 2). I like Ellington because their extra fine point pens are truly fine point and sometimes when I am using recycled paper my other brand fine point pens bleed more into the paper. I bought the rosewood pen because I have a rosewood desk and I simply couldn't resist getting this pen - and it is indeed beautiful!!!! I feel the price is also affordable. So all in all I'm very pleased with my two Ellington pens!

I have purchased over a dozen Ellington pens in the past year. Some were gifted to others, and I enjoy the heft and feel of the pens and the smooth writing they give. I have written several honest and positive reviews of Ellington pens. I decided to treat myself to a "luxury pen" and ordered the Rosewood Radiance. It is an attractive pen and writes nicely. However, the cap will not stay posted and falls off during writing and rolls off the desk or hides itself under papers. As this is extremely annoying to me, I wrote to Customer Service and reported the problem. The woman on my case asked for the order # and a video of the misbehaving cap in action. Both were sent. She wrote back that the video didn't arrive and wanted it sent again. By then I had spent several hours dealing with one-handed videoing, file transfers between devices and formatting. So I mailed the pen back to Ellington requesting a full refund. The return was within the 30 day limit. That was 2 1/2 weeks ago, and there is no response from Ellington. So my question is: Why did you believe and publish my glowing reviews, but won't believe my difficulties with the pen? Why require video documentation? How much longer is this going to drag out? Not a good look Ellington. I rate the latest encounter as writing a 5, appearance a 3 and Customer Service 0.

Bought this as a gift for my wife. The look is stunning and it’s of quality that far exceeds the price. She collects fountain pens and this was a very welcome addition that has quickly become one of her daily uses. Both she and I highly recommend this pen, especially for the price.

Handles well, writes smoothly, and getting the stealth fountain pen was an extra bonus. The stealth fountain pen writes just as well, and I like it more than I thought I would.

This Rosewood fountain Pen makes those arond you look and comment on tis very distinctive writing instrument. Unfortunately, fewer and fewer people know how to use this classic writing tool and even fewer are communicating with this instrument. Notes or letters writting with a fountain pen are still a classic compliment to the receiver of such communications. Thank you for this product!

I’ve never had a fountain pen before, though my son always loved using one, so I decided to treat myself with this one. (Your Facebook ads roped me in!) I like the smooth writing of a gel pen, but not the smearing. Ball points often skip, and refills aren’t always easy to come by. So, investing in the fountain pen seemed worth the try. I am not disappointed! I bout some colored inks as well, and was fortunate to have purchased when there was a free pen offer, so on has purple ink the other is blue. I love to write with them!

The fountain pen was a gift for my partner. He was surprised, and so was I.

Unfortunately, my pen's end came in a little off center so the cap won't stay on while writing. Other than that, it's a beautiful pen. Even without the cap on it, it feels nice in my hand but, my hands are pretty small and if they were any bigger the pen would be too small without the cap. Overall, it's a smooth pen and for the price I got it for, I'm pleased. It's my first wooden fountain pen and I see myself reaching for it often after filling it with a good ink.

It does get points for the engraved E on the nib, as my beloved's name begins with an E as well.

I got the writer's bundle and I love the pen, how easy it is to write. The only downfall is the cap keeps falling off when I'm writing.

I purchased my first fountain pen, the Ellington Rosewood Radiance is marvelous! Smooth and elegant, a joy to write with. I will be purchasing another Ellington in the future.

Hello, I love the Ellington Rosewood Radiance Fountain Pen that I purchased. I am a beginner fountain pen user and am quite happy with this one. It is a very smooth writing experience so far. At some point, I will try other inks. I would recommend this pen to a friend.

I think this pen is one of the most Elegant pens you have made.. This makes the 5th pen for my husband either I bought or he has purchased.
