Barrel is made of Polycarbonate (PC) material while the nib is made of stainless steel.

*Ink Converter can be used to draw ink from an Ink Bottle. However an ink cartridge is not compatible with the transparent pens. Replacement nibs are also not compatible.

Another great pen from Ellington

This is my 3rd Ellington pen and I love it. To begin with I wasn’t sure about its stubby feel in my hand, but it’s so comfortable and the clear plastic is so stylish, enabling me to see the working parts and ink colour.
The flow is just as efficient as with my other Ellingtons - the flow of my writing isn’t interrupted - I can just pick up the pen and write, no matter how many days in between use. All my other fountain pens, have to be cajoled back into life by taking the them apart and recharging the converters. Not so the Ellington - my fingers have never been so ink free!
The clear case of the Pure Clarity is rather smart too. I really do love it!

Ik koos voor de punt S, vond deze best dik. Helaas heb ik niet goed gelezen dat de pen rechtop bewaard moet worden. In tegenstelling tot enkele andere merken vulpennen die ik heb. Dus pen ontvangen, gevuld, in mij etui bewaard, per ongeluk op zijn kop. De volgende ochtend was alle inkt uit de punt gelopen, helemaal in de pen en de dubbelwandige dop . Kortom: transparante pen helemaal verpest. Eigen schuld, maar houd hier wel goed rekening mee 🥴

a bit fatter than expected, but othewise terrific!

The F point is responsive and writes beautifully, the ink capacity is huge, all good!

I think next time I need the EF (a non-Japanese EF) for my personal preference, but I'm enjoying writing with it at length!

New pens

Had issues in beginning, watched videos nothing was resolved so a little warm water and working fine.

I remember growing up using a fountain pen and saw an advertisement recently and decided to be a little nostalgic so ordered thos fine looking pen. Received the pen yesterday….loved the packaging and look of the pen but no so much the performance of the pen. I viewed the video on pen performance several times and followed their instructions but unfortunately all I can muster out of this pen is no more than 2-3 words at a time before it stops writing. I end up flashing the pen to get the ink to flow but end up with ink all over my desk and hand…it works for a few words then stops writing and this has been the pattern. I thought…hmmm, maybe this morning this would be different after the pen sitting overnight but NO… same thing … 2-3 words then nothing. For the cost…I was really looking forward to returning to using a fountain pen and am VERY disappointed and would NOT recommend this pen.
