Ink Bottle Crimson Aria Red

I have been an avid fountain pen user for as long as I can remember. I enjoy trying new pens, using old favorites, writing, sketching, and making everyday note.
As a photographer, I make notes all the time in the field, and many a time I fellow colleague will remark that I use a fountain pen and say, "Wow, that’s neat" .
Anyway, I purchased a couple Ellington Pens about a month ago, and loved the feel, style, and particularly the writing performance of the pen. However, the nib size was too heavy for my preference, so I wrote to them and they responded almost immediately. They offered to send two new Fine point nibs out as replacement and now I could not be happier with these new pens. One has red ink, one black, and the smoothness of writing is unbelievable. Not only do they make great pens, their correspondence is outstanding. Every time I would write them, I would get a response within hours, not days, like many companies. I was always taught, that everything you do is in the details, and Ellington Pens sits at the top of this list, from their pens down to their customer service. Thank You Ellington Pens!

I can never make my mind up as to whether it is the pen that is more imprtant, or the ink. I feel I have found the perfect combination. Whether it is a note to self or a long creative writing piece, this lovely ink goes joyously across the page with no fade-outs or blotches. So bright and cheerful; I love it!

Nice bottle of ink. Inked an Ellington Nautilus with it, looks good. Do have to mention that the original bottle sent was smashed in transit. Have to commend Ellington for their rapid response and replacement. Nicely done!

This is a real heavy dark red. Also purchased the dark green. It is a true dark green. I highly recommend them for those who utilize separate colors for differential documentation.

I now have this luscious ink in a new Crimson Ellington pen - delighted with both and no longer likely to write in black when I meant red!

Grey tink

The red is neither firetruck nor creepy blood red, just a rich red that also worked beautifully for doing my Christmas cards. Quality bottle that is both pretty and doesn’t leak!
