I received this fountain pen for a Christmas Present. It is so beautiful!! I love maple wood and this did not disappoint me. I have already tried it out and it writes smoothly!!!

I had ceased handwriting for years. Then I got inspired by receiving a beautiful hand written letter to take up a pen and practice handwriting again after long neglect. I tried various pens and bought this one . I was very pleased that it writes beautifully and is a gorgeous pen too! It’s become my favorite pen! It gives me confidence I can achieve my goal of beautiful handwriting.

I love this Maplewood Fountain Pen. It sits beautifully in my hand. Control of the pen is spot on because, although the wood has a smooth texture, it never feels like it’s going to slip around in my hand. It’s not only practical but it’s beautiful!! Maybe Ellington Pens will make other pens with wood…..how about wood from an olive tree?

I recently received my Ellington fountain pen and wanted to share some quick feedback. The pen writes smoothly and feels well-crafted in the hand. While I wouldn’t place it in the elite tier of fountain pens, it performs much better than I expected at this price point. The balance between design, build quality, and writing performance makes it an excellent value, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable it is to use.

I also want to highlight the excellent customer service I experienced. When my first pen arrived with a small defect, the issue was corrected within a day after only two emails. That kind of prompt and straightforward support makes a big difference and left me very confident in your brand.

It has a nice feel in my hand and my pocket. It's quite heavy for a pen, which I like. Unfortunately when the cap is turned around and stuck to the bottom of the pen it is too heavy to comfortably write so I leave it off. It writes very smoothly and with little pressure. The cap has a feel and sound of quality as it snugly snaps shut. It's a beautiful pen. I can only complain about 1 thing, I really wish it came with a choice of tips as I wanted an extra fine.

I have 4 of these fountain pens and they are marvellous! I also have a popular, and much more expensive brand of pen that does not write as beautifully as Ellington pens. These fountain pens are so smooth, don’t drip and leak, and will always write beautifully. If you enjoy writing and journaling, this is the pen for you. It makes writing special!
