Works well smaller than expected but writes very well

I haven’t used a fountain pen in about 30 years, but decided that 2026 would be the year I started writing more and spending less time using a digital screen, so purchased a pocket fountain pen.. it’s well balanced, writes very nicely, and sits in a jacket or trouser pocket comfortably too!

my pen had a faulty nib. But Ellington pens changed it quickly and now writes brilliantly. Cant recommend them enough!!

I was very disapointed with the poor quality of these fountain pens. I have order the pocket size and full size fountain pen. These pens are good for beginners but they are very poor quality! I will be very shame to write with these pens in front of my friends, family and my colleagues! As i say, it is good probaly for beginners or childrens. However, the package was well presented.

I like it...but it appears to use a different size cartridge. Writes good.

My fav nibs are the broadest you can get, like used in calligraphy. I wish there were a broader nib option but otherwise the Pocket Size pen is lovely and a fine writing instrument.

I am enjoying this pen! I’ve used numerous expensive pens, and this pen compares very well. It’s joined my list of favorite pens!

Writes beautifully, like all the Ellington pens. One suggestion would be to revert to the same cap closure system rather than the screw cap. Also I like that the Nautilus pen finish is matte. Not glossy. Different than most of the full size pens. I also own the Copper finish pocket pen. Same comment about the cap closure systems. The finish of the pen is beautiful.

The Pocket Nautilus writes as well as its big brother--smooth. The barrel color is just as good, only smaller. The difference is, on the full-sized Nautilus you just pull the cap off. On the Pocket Nautilus you have to give it a twist and unscrew it. At this point it's a matter of personal preference. I prefer a cap that just pulls off, but I'm going to keep giving my Poceet Nautilus a twist and keep using it--because it just writes so well.

The pen arrived and it was well packaged. Opened package to a beautiful pen. Could not wait to write with it and get the smooth flow of the ink marking the paper. I have a few fountain pens this one is among my better pens. I like the size as I have small hands and it is easier to carry around. This is my one pen that will be blue ink and I purchased Ellington ink to go with the pen. I really like the rich dark color of the blue without it looking black. I am contemplating maybe getting a finer point nib mainly because I like real fine points even in my pencils. Will I get another Ellington pen I would not hesitate and there could be something in the future.

Ink dries in the nib too quickly
