Great nib for my favourite fountain pen.

I bought the fine gold nib because I thought it

I bought the fine gold nib because I thought it would work on the Maple Wood pen but apparently you can not by other nibs for the wooden fountain pens then the one it came with. So I ordered the Vintage Fern pen with an EF nib that nib comes in gold. Its a good thing I had the Fine gold nib already because the EF nib on the Vintage Fern pen was so scratchy I did not like it. I substituted the EF nib with the Fine gold nib and that nib works great.

Love my new nib

I've been struggling with the pen I was gifted. We all write uniquely and one nib doesn't always suit another person. I ordered a different nib and it arrived quickly and intact. Switching the nib was easy and the flow for me has been resolved. I'm using my pen very day now and I'm very happy.

Not a universal nib for thier branded fountain pens. I have multiple fountain pens from this company and never had a problem with any of my fountain pens but I wanted to change my nib size from EF to M and ordered a Nib replacment to discovered that the medium Nib does not fit onto the base or body of my fountain pen!

Extra fine Nib purchase

I decided to switch out 5 of my Ellington Fountain pen nibs with Extra fine nibs, and I am pleased with how well the nibs write. It is still a smooth writing experience, but with a finer line. One of the things I appreciate about the Ellington Pen Company is that they stock replacement nibs. Regardless of the nib size you prefer, Ellington stocks the replacements. I own two Scriveiner Fountain pens, and my biggest complaint about them is they do not stock replacement nibs. In the USA, you need to order Schmidt replacement nibs from Jet Pens. To add to the problem, Scriveiner offers their fountain with an extra fine nib. But if you need to replace that nib, you can't because Jet Pens does not stock Schmidt nibs in extra fine. This why I now have 5 Ellington fountain pens and only 2 Scriveiner fountain pens.

Replacement nib

I had dropped my pen and bent the tip of the nib. I’m so happy they offer replacement nibs. I was able to unscrew the bad nib and pop on a new one. Works great and I didn’t have to buy a whole new pen.

Just what I needed and wanted. I would rather have control over the ink going into my pen rather than wrestling on another cartridge which may leak. Lovely to hold - very ergonomic (my choice, this one) but plenty of others to choose from. A great buy and great value for money in my book.

Replacement nibs

Replacement nibs are a wonderful idea! I use my Ellington fountain pen so much I’m probably going to wear the nib out. It’s the calligraphy set I use because I enjoy practicing pretty lettering everyday. Unfortunately the one nib I use from the set (the second-smallest broad nib) isn’t available as a replacement. I hope Ellington will offer every nib in the set as a replacement sometime in the near future. I do love these pens. I’ve used a fountain pen since the 70’s and these are probably the best I’ve ever had!
Also I’m very happy with the converter as well as the inks. I mix them to get richer, more complex colours - a sort of mulberry colour and a woodsy blue-green. Even the bottles are beautiful.

I ordered one in gold, silver, and rose gold. They are all working beautifully.

Writing ✍️ with nostalgia

Using a fountain pen again after many years has been refreshing. Ellington pens are made with quality and no leaking on my finger! I wish my handwriting were better so I could do justice to my cursive writing!
