Highly praised rollerball with "smooth" writing and "elegant" design. Customers said it's "well balanced" with "nice weight" and "excellent quality." Some noted issues: cap doesn't stay attached while writing, point seems finer than expected, and one found it top-heavy with rattling. Popular as a gift. One customer confused by red protective substance on tip initially.

Scarlet Slate Rollerball

Rocky start, happy ending

I think I should have been warned that the rollerball would come with a red substance covering the point. Exchanged emails with the company because I believed the order was wrong. Once it was clarified I am very happy with the pen.

Fantastic qualities. The only pen for me and gifts for othery

Excellent

Scarlet Slate Rollerball

Excellent quality

Pen lover

I love my new rollerball pen. The red is amazing and it writes so smoothly.

Nice pen

The pen is beautiful, and has nice balance. My only complaint is that the point seems finer than I expected from a medium point pen. It doesn't seem to flow as easily as I'd hoped.

Beautiful Pen

I have not used it much yet, but so far I love it.

Excellent rollerball pen

A perfect match to my fountain pen.

Love it! Great craftsmanship and excellent results.

Scarlet Slate Rollerball

Great product and excellent service👍

I have several fountain pens, but didn't want to use one at work because I felt that there would be too much danger of damage to the tip. This pen let's me use a quality pen at work. My only problem, and I've also had it with a couple of the fountain pens, is that the cap won't stay attached to the back of the pen while I'm writing. I wouldn't want to lose it.

High quality pen that is a delight to use

Ellington is the best

I LOVE my pens!!!! I have a fountain pen, a mechanical pencil, and 2 scarlet pens. I love writing with them all. Thank you for such a great instrument for writing.

Heavy, well made pen

Beautiful pen, very substantial and heavy in the hand. A little scratchy when writing with it, something I’ve never experienced before. I don’t know if it’s this pen or all Ellingtons sound this way. Ink flow is smooth and even. Overall I’m happy with the pen and have ordered 2 more colors.

Well made pen

Well made pen with British heritage. Recommended.

First-Time Rollerball Magic
