However, some noted inconsistent ink flow on certain papers, challenges with cartridge installation, and that the weight/size may not suit smaller hands. I'm happy with the company representation and communication. The pens fall a little short, though. Ink flow is uneven, too much/blotchy, then too little and missed strokes. It's just not easy to write smoothly even when I slow my writing to try to accommodate it.

This pen writes so smooth and I was able to easily put the ink cartridge inside (with help from an instructional video on this website) I love that you have the option of using a cartridge or an inkwell… which I have if I wanted to try… shipping was fast and it comes beautifully packaged inside a lined box to keep all accessories neat and secure.
I just got one because I like carrying around something nice for my most used thing at work and only hoped that people weren't crazy when they said it feels nicer to write with. Turns out it's way nicer! My handwriting is still crap though.

The ink flows so smoothly you want to think of things to write just to continue the experience. The Ellington ink also holds up well. As for looks, these pens are beautiful just to look at. I have already purchases and given some as gifts. Quality, looks, and price .... hard to beat.
