Fountain Pen

Whilst I really like my Scarlet Slate Fountain Pen I can't write with it with cap stored safely on the end of the pen as the weight of the cap unbalances the pen in my hand (I'm 5 feet tall and have proportionally small hands). This is an issue I've never encountered before. I've had many fountain pens in my 68 years. All of us who are under 5'7" are growing increasingly tired of a world that discriminates against the smaller person, from aeroplane seats to supermarket shelves and now, it seems, pens.

Fountain pen review

I just attempted to fill the pen for the first time and found that the ink converter does not work properly. The internal piston does not lower or raise upward when turning the handle of the converter. I had to install one of the ink cartridges. The pen writes well but I hope you will send me a converter that works. I will return the current converter if needed. I have been a fountain pen user for over 40 years. Hopefully I will hear back from you.
