Beautiful. Not like leaky fountain pens of old. No smearing fast drying ink. Love

This is a lovely pen that looks much more expensive than it is. The body is excellent, the cap clips firmly into place, and it looks and feels very much like a quality item. The ink flow is reliable and the pen starts writing at once even after a period of disuse which is good. The nib however is a bit disappointing. It's much finer than I would normally expect for a medium nib, and while it writes well it's not as smooth as I had hoped.

These deserve a more elegant name than just a “pen”. They are a nice weight in your hand and writing with it feels like stepping back into the past. I’m enjoying my purchase very much!!

You may be able to order a pen with "rose" in it's name, or one the color of a rose, but if it's not an Ellington, it's not the same. This pen has the same beautiful design, the same quality, and writes as smoothly as all of the other Ellington fountain pens I own. Keep up the great work, Ellington Pens!

Cool pen, durable, well made.

This is my first “real” fountain pen! It is beautiful and writes well! I see more in my future!

First of all, Customer Service was excellent. As for the pen; I enjoy the feel of it as it glides over the paper. I'm using Baystate Blue and between the two writing is effortless, except for the mental part. Will buy another in the future.

Looks amazing, is smooth to write with and beautifully weighted in your hand. It’s so lovely to make writing a pleasurable experience again

It was purchased and presented as a gift to a special Lady. It went over very well, She loved it.

Very beautiful pen that writes smoothly. There’s also great customer service if you have any issues.

Lovely color, smooth writing. I inserted one of the cartridges and was immediately writing away! It’s a comfortable weight, not too light but not too heavy. And thank you for including a converter! I wish other fountain pen companies would do that.

Vintage Rose Fountain Pen

I have received many positive comments on the attractiveness of the pen. The ink flows very smoothly. I have ordered many colors of refills and am looking forward to using them.

Good service, prompt delivery.

Not loving it. Ink cartridges are very small. Worst is, it does not write smoothly. The feel is like scratching the paper, not smooth glide writing. It was advertised as a smooth writing fountain pen—maybe my expectations were too high. Don’t care for it and likely won’t use it much. Disappointed, especially considering price. Writing with a $2 gel ballpoint is far, far better.

Besutiful color. The barrel is big for my small hand and it is very heavy for me

I really like the pens. I am not a major writer or anything, but it is very nice to have pens like this to use. I have gotten a lot of compliments about the pens and the way everyone talks about them means I have to make sure I get them back. I am very happy with this purchase and look forward to using the pens for a long time.

Beautiful writing pen a must to try

I bought this pen for my daughter’s birthday. She absolutely loved it and was looking forward to trying it.

My Neice lives and works in London. She loves vintage books, fine paper and the art of taking afternoon tea. Imagine her delight at opening a package containing a quality fountain pen- the beautiful Vintage Rose. Red is her favorite color. It thrilled me to introduce her to fine writing instruments.
Thank you Ellington!

Vintage Rose Fountain Pen

I journal every morning and a while ago I thought I’d try fountain pens— I saw the beautiful color of the Vintage Rose pen and got it for myself as a Christmas present— it is not only beautilful, but it writes smoothly and the heft of the pen is just right in my hand— left hand.

Amazing. Everything from start to finish. The pen is great, it is my second one so I knew it will be great.

More importantly, it writes beautifully. It starts the first time, every time the nib touches the paper. The flow is steady and even. All with a light touch.

Wonderful looking pen! Takes a while for your order to get to you! But once received, the pens are beautiful and write very well. I've got about 7 of the Ellington Fountain pens!

Very nice pen. Love the quality and smooth writing. The extra fine is perfect.

I absolutely love my pen, I try and use it as often as I can

It's just a really gorgeous color and writes as perfectly as all my other Ellington pens. Excellent addition!
