I’m enjoying my pen very much. I love the option to use a converter or cartridge. My main issue is that I broke the bent/ flex nib when capping my pen. It seems like it is easy to hang up on some internal shelf within the cap that also serves as a retention to keep the cap on the pen. I broke just one tip on one side of the nib.

I’ve owned many fountain pens before, but will never go back to any other pen (including my expensive Mont Blanc)…By far the best - ink flows from the beginning, no shaking, begging, urging it on, or scratching. Love it. I ordered 2 as well as the calligraphy set. Buy this, you won’t be disappointed. Well done, Ellington!!

Love this set! The packaged presentation is wonderful and the Shadow Pine is a lovely deep green. I ordered the Forest Green ink to go with for my nature journaling, though I will tone it down a bit doing a custom mix with some of the black. It’s a bit too grassy green for my liking. I just love the Ellington Pens. I was gifted one for Christmas and I now own 6 (Two from the calligraphy sets) and two more on the way. I love being able to switch out the nibs based on how I’m “feeling”….some days are thin and others are fancy and broad.

Bought this kit for my lovely girlfriend and she absolutely loved it. Well built well orchestrated fountain pens couldn’t be happier.
