Pen is outstanding, writes smooth, no skipping, keeps an even flow, and is very comfortable to use, nicely balanced (with cap on back).

I have more expensive fountain pens but this is my favorite. It is smooth and consistent. With my other pens I have to constantly dip the tip in water to get the ink to flow, but the Ellington pen writes right off the bat every time. I have a very light touch when writing and the Ellington pen doesn’t require a lot of pressure to write smoothly

This pen is phenomenal in appearance and style. I get compliments on it all of the time! I could not have picked a better pen or a better company to buy this style of pen from.

I bought this pen because i wanted a weighty pen for my hands which tremble when i write, and it hasnt dissappointed so far. Posted cap, it feels pleasant when gripped tightly. I have nothing left to ask of it, only, if you do make a weightier pen for disabilities, id like the grip to be half an inch thick and the pen three times the weight.

Elysian Gold Fountain Pen

Recently purchased, a very nice pen,looks and feels good and writes very smoothly.

This is a beautiful writing instrument. The weight is comfortable. It is balanced purfrctly. The nib is smooth and requires nothing more then a desire to try writing. When I first picked it up and tested it's weight it felt perfect. I would recommend this pen to anyone I see. Keep up the good work.

I bought the pen as a gift for my grandson and have not written with it, so I can’t compare it to my Parker or Shaffer fountain pens. But it is very good-looking and has an excellent heft to it. I think he’ll like it a lot.

I purchased the pen for my partner. The pen failed to write properly despite following the instructions. Although we would have liked a replacement pen, we had to settle for a replacement nib and the pen is working fine

Writes beautifully, looks outstanding, only had the pen a couple of weeks but so far I am really pleased with the way it writes, the weight and the feel of using it. Great product and, in my opinion, great value for money.

Awesome and excellent writing

I use Ellington fountains every day. One of the best fountain pens in my collection and better than some of the more expensive ones.

I was encouraged by previous testimony to the quality of the pen and was not disapointed. The only glitch was they came with medium nibs and I required broad nib. I had to order new nibs with the new pens an unfortunate cost. The customer service was really helpful in replying to emails and guiding me but it seems the ‘pen / nib’ is an unchangable order. It would be helpful and encourgaing if the nib size could be chosen — the colours and styles are selectable what a pitty the nibs are not. When the additional nibs were purchased the fitted and worled perfectly — but an unecessary cost for the included nibs that will now just sit in a drawer. This may be part of the fulfillment problem in terms of distribution but it would be good to work up a solution for an otherwise satisfied customer.

Smooth writing and cheap enough for a good starter fountain pen

I wanted a fountain pen to sign my books. The sound on the paper and the effortless flow of ink are an experience.
