Very solid fountain pen

I’m glad I finally ordered my Ellington pen. I have dozens of fountain pens and this one immediately has earned a top spot; certainly in my top 5. I ordered the extra-fine nib and I’m very satisfied. The nib is indeed extra-fine but it is still as smooth as can be without scratching or stubbing. It is also very clean with never an extra drip or bleed-through on the paper. Thanks Ellington. I only got the pen on the 5 of June, it seems to have been sitting in CBS since the 17 May. So far it has been a great asset to my growing collection of fountain pens. Love the style and especially the colour (reason I bough it lol). It is not a flimsy pen but has a nice weight to it. Writes well and I’m happy overall. The re-placement pen arrived on the 9th June but is still in the box, but the customer service I received from the original pen being MIA was to say the least OUTSTANDING.

The Pictures Don't Do It Justice

I received this pen as a promotional gift with purchase. Honestly, I wouldn't have ever selected it as it's not a color I normally use. And then I received it. It's Gorgeous (yes, with a capital G!) and I can't stop looking at, and using, it. The pictures online do not do it justice. The matte finish with the black trim is something I want more of!

Another Hit From Ellington Pens

I own most of the fountain pens Ellington makes, and it's getting harder to write something new about a different style or color. But I like the coloring of the Moss Amber pen. I'll call it a soft army green. And the black trim goes well with it. It's pleasing to the eye. And of course, it writes well. After all, it's an Ellington.

What a delight this pen has become. It is beautifully designed. The matte finish feels like a soft velvet to the touch. I bought EF nib version and it is just as smooth as any gold nibs I've tried. I have used this pen for writing as well as sketching. No problems with ink flow. No scratchiness as with some other EF nibs. Overall the pen feels solid in my hand and complements my sketching kit just right.
