I have tried many fountain pens and have never really been completely satisfied, until this one! I am a left handed writer so it is always difficult to find the right pen. I love the fine easy writing with this pen. I totally recommend this company!

Twilight Tide Fountain Pen

As with all the other Ellingtons I've bought the last few months, I love it. It's just the right weight for me (heavy, but not too heavy) and is built to last. It's a smooth writer that has good ink flow through the nib. The only thing that surprised me was that I thought it would have a matte finish from the picture. It has the regular gloss finish of most of the rest of the Ellington catalog. The black nib against the deep purple finish is REALLY sharp! Very happy with my purchase!

The flow of ink is great. The only thing that would make it better is a bolder nib. Otherwise, it’s an excellent product.

Writes smoothly and it is very easy to change the ink cartridges.

I love the smooth buttery feeling of writing with very little strength upon the paper, my printing, and my signature never felt so studious! I love the pen!

My pen came with a burr on the end of the nib. I emailed customer service and was sent a new nib for my pen. The pen writes so smoothly and looks awesome! This is the 10th pen I have purchased from Ellington and I have always received a quick response. Ellington really does make good on any issues with their product.

I've been using fountain pens for decades, and it's always been a bit of a hassle getting them to write after installing the ink cartridge. You know how it is, you have to shake it, wet the tip, use blotting paper to draw the ink down the nib, etc.
Imaging my pleased surprised when I installed the cartridge in my new Ellington Twilight Tide Fountain Pen and it started writing flawlessly right away!
This pen is worth at least twice what I paid for it. It feels great in my hand, wrote and writes smoothly from the first time, and has actually improved my penmanship! Ellington makes a fine writing instrument!

I really love my new pens. I am very impressed, especially considering the price point. They are smooth, just juicy enough, but not drenching. Delightful!

so the pen is really great. I love the fact that the cap posts very well. excellent balance and the extra fine nib writes incredible for me. I was really expecting a more violet color from the website picture, what i got was more of a Mopar Plum Crazy. still an awesome pen.

I can't say enough about my Ellington pens; I have one rollerball and three fountains. That says it all!
